Olympiacos announce the signing of Mexican international Alan Pulido

Greek club Olympiacos have announced this Friday the signing of Mexican forward Alan Pulido.

Through their official website, Olympiacos unveiled Pulido as their latest signing, with Pulido declaring himself “very happy to play for one of the most recognized clubs in the world”.

Pulido’s transfer status has been one of huge debate in Mexico, with Pulido claiming he is a free agent but his former club Tigres maintaining they still have his contractual rights.

In addition, during the 2015 Liga MX Apertura draft, Chivas claimed to have acquired part of his contract in negotiations with Tigres.

But with his move to Olympiacos, it is expected CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) rules in favor of the player and Pulido can complete his move to the historic Greek Club.
