Crystal Palace stun Norwich City 3-1

It took a while for the Eagles to get going but they took the lead on 39 minutes when Jason Puncheon found Wilfried Zaha at the back post and he acrobatically volleyed home past Ruddy.
Alan Pardew’s side carried on the same form in the second half and doubled their lead on 50 minutes when Damien Delaney bundled home after confusion in the home penalty area.
Nathan Redmond was introduced not long after and he was an instant threat and, after 70 minutes, he pulled a goal back when he curled a shot home from 25 yards that Alex McCarthy may have done better with.
There was controversy minutes later when Cameron Jerome had a goal harshly ruled out for dangerous play, despite there being no contact with Joel Ward’s head with his boot.
The away side made the game safe in injury-time when Cabaye slotted home from James McArthur’s pass to make it an unhappy return to the top flight for the Canaries.
